I am learning!!

INTERFAITH

I am new in the study of other religion but i am trying to give my best to study the other religion as i am comparing with mine.. This will make my study about my religion as well indirectly.. All the time is that i have only look toward Islam only but never want to make new improvement of doing studying about the other religion.. and I just want to compare and this comparison will make me a strong believer.

As i am learning i just want to explore the real comparison and answering and questioning about other to.. Than i go to the Youtube.. As i go to this video.. there are comment that i want to try arguing so that i can get much more input.. i don't have to prove who is wrong who is right but i just want experiencing the challenge if i am gonna get ask in real world what are the question might come to me.. this is the link to
the video title

and if you see the comment there i have been debating for several days with the other person.. And i am sorry for it because i have this tendency to win.. after this blog.. i would like to stop this debate that have been going for days.. YA-HA.. because i might have insulting him and other that i do not want but i think i have insulted him.. huhuhu i am sorry for that..

this is some of the example of the question from him i got..

"Mow on to my questions to you. Their are 109 verses of violence in the koran, calling on fighting the "unbelievers". Also; while Jews and Christians are called "people of the book", they were giving 3 choices in islamic invasion..convert, pay a tax of superiority, or die. Now, how does that make any sense?. Furthemore, it says in sura 5:51.."O ye who believe, take not Jews and Christians as friends". CONTINUED..

"the hadith is even more explicit. bukhari 52:177 says to kill Jews. 52:256 says to kill all pagans without mercy..yet sabians are said to be equally rewarded for good deeds????. This makes absolutely no sense!!!!!!!..
Furthermore, does it make sense that the Torah and Gospels got it SOOOO wrong that they completely changed core principles of the divinity of Christ, and made their prophets look "worse"????. Even as ALL documented scriptures show otherwise?????.

other you can see it at the comment on youtube..

GOD.. The meaning of God.

Bismillahirrahmannirrahim..
(In the name of Allah who most gracious most merciful.)

As you can see there are many religion in this world and i can say that about 99% percent of the religion
is based on faith to the God.And for your information even the small letter "g" and capital letter "G"  in the word of god and God itself will give a different meaning.

What is the meaning of God itself?

I am quoting from "http://reluctant-messenger.com/citsym/God.htm" for the meaning of god.

Taoism
Tao, the subtle reality of the universe cannot be described, That which can be described in words is mearly a conception of the mind. Although names and descriptions have been applied to it, the subtle reality is beyond the description.
Tao Teh Ching - beginning of chapter 1
The subtle essense of the universe is elusive and evasive.
...
It is the subtle origin of the whole of creation and non-creation. It existed prior to the beginning of time as the deep and subtle reality of the universe. It brings all into being.
Tao Teh Ching - portions of chapter 21

Buddhism

"There is, O monks, an unborn, unoriginated, uncreated, unformed. Were there not, O monks, this unborn, unoriginated, uncreated, unformed, there would be no escape from the world of the born, originated, created, formed.
"Since, O monks, there is an unborn, unoriginated, uncreated, and unformed, therefore is there an escape from the born, originated, created, formed."
The Gospel of Buddha - Sermon at the bamboo grove at Rajagaha

Hinduism

Neither the multitude of gods nor great sages know of my origin, for I am the source of all the gods and great sages.
A mortal who knows me as the unborn, beginningless great lord of the worlds is freed from all delusion and all evils.
The Bhagavad-Gita - The tenth teaching, verses 2 & 3

Sihkism

There is One, only One Supreme Being, Truth Eternal, Creator of all seen & unseen, Fearless, Without hatred, Timeless Being, Non-Incarnated, Self created, Realized by the Grace of Guru (Perfect Master Only.)
Guru Granth Sahib Page 1

Judaism

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Genesis 1:1
For thus saith the Eternal that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the self existent One; and there is none else.
Isaiah 45:18

Christianity

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. He was present originally with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without him was not one thing made that has come into being.
Gospel of John 1:1-3

Sufism

You are the Absolute Existence which causes (our) transient (existences) to appear.
Masnavi - Book 1 - Creator and Creation

Now, a definition of God.
God is the indescribable, uncreated, self existent, eternal all knowing source of all reality and being.

All these are only some of the example of the meaning of God from certain religion for the meaning of god and lastly the writer from the links conclude that the meaning of God is as indescribable, uncreated, self existent, eternal all knowing source of all reality and being.

In Islam what is the meaning of God?? the important things in islam is Ma’rifatullah means knowing Allah.. in arabic the word of god is illah.. We muslim aware of the first "pillars of islam" is the syahadah.

i am quoting from "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shahada"

"The shahada (Arabic: الشهادةaš-šahādah About this sound audio ) (from the verb شهد šahida, “he witnessed”), means “to know and believe without suspicion, as if witnessed, testification”; it is the name of the Islamic creed. The shahada is the Muslim declaration of belief in the oneness of God (tawhid) and acceptance of Muhammad as God’s prophet. The declaration in its shortest form reads:
لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله (lā ʾilāha ʾillà l-Lāh, Muḥammadun rasūlu l-Lāh) (in Arabic)
There is no god but Allah(God), Muhammad is the messenger of God. (in English)"

thus the meaning for muslim to said syahadah is to declare or testified that ther is no GOD  but Allah.. but we want to know who is Allah.. how come we belief in islam as though we don't know who is Allah.. but this will be discuss in the next post entitle"Answering the question about Existence of Allah".

thus to conclude the meaning of god,
God is the indescribable, uncreated, self existent, eternal all knowing source of all reality and being.

Answering qustion about islam

I want to share some of most asked question for Muslim people by non-Muslims. If this question are to be asked. What we're Muslim supposed to answer as we know that most of the people likely the public muslims are the one that closest to the non-muslim. so when they started to ask the question we muslim ourself cannot answer it.

the answer for this situation is simple. Dont answer if you do not know accrding to your own understanding. It is better you said to them "i am sorry i do not know the answer YET, but i will come back to you for the answer after i get the correct answer according to our holy Quran." . So when we said these we wont give bad impression for Islam for ourself give them some information that we are not actually have faith for our answer. If we muslim ourself does not know the answer why should we answer. I believe if you put it on hold and looking for the answer mostly internet you will find more answer and not only answer we can get proof as there is no mistake for the Quran 100%.

For example one most popular question about the Holy Quran.

"Quran says that Allah has made the earth for you as a carpet. This gives an indication that the earth is flat. Does this not contradict established modern science?"

Okey. For this question i will take the research answer by Dr. Zakir Naik. For confirmation it is not he answer that. He just only do research but the answer are answered by the Holy Quran. All the answer are in the Holy quran.. So these are the example of answer:-

There are 4 answer  to solve the question..

1. Earth made as a carpet

The question refers to a verse from the Quran in Surah Nuh:
“And Allah has made the earth for you as a carpet (spread out).” [Al-Quran 71:19]
But the sentence in the above verse is not complete. It continues in the next verse, explaining the previous verse. It says: “That ye may go about therein, in spacious roads.” [Al-Quran 71:20]
A similar message is repeated in Surah TaHa:
“He Who has made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels)....” [Al-Quran 20:53]
The surface of the earth i.e. earth’s crust is less than 30 miles in thickness and is very thin as compared to the radius of the earth which is about 3750 miles. The deeper layers of the earth are very hot, fluid and hostile to any form of life. The earth’s crust is a solidified shell on which we can live. The Quran rightly refers to it like a carpet spread out, so that we can travel along its roads and paths.

2. Carpet can also be spread on other than an absolute flat surface

Not a single verse of the Quran says that the earth is flat. The Quran only compares the earth’s crust with a carpet. Some people seem to think that carpet can only be put on an absolute flat surface. It is possible to spread a carpet on a large sphere such as the earth. It can easily be demonstrated by taking a huge model of the earth’s globe covering it with a carpet.
Carpet is generally put on a surface, which is not very comfortable to walk on. The Quran describes the earth crust as a carpet, without which human beings would not be able to survive because of the hot, fluid and hostile environment beneath it. The Quran is thus not only logical, it is mentioning a scientific fact that was discovered by geologists centuries later.

3. Earth has been spread out

Similarly, the Quran says in several verses that the earth has been spread out. “And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: how excellently We do spread out!” [Al-Quran 51:48]
Similarly the Quran also mentions in several other verses that the earth is an expanse: “Have We not made the earth as a wide expanse “And the mountains as pegs?” [Al-Quran 78:6-7]
None of these verses of the Quran contain even the slightest implication that the earth is flat. It only indicates that the earth is spacious and the reason for this spaciousness of the earth is mentioned. The Glorious Quran says: “O My servants who believe! Truly spacious is My Earth: therefore serve ye Me . (And Me alone)!” [Al-Quran 29:56]
Therefore none can give the excuse, that he could not do good and was forced to do evil because of the surroundings and circumstances.

4. Earth is geo-spherical in shape

The Quran mentions the actual shape of the earth in the following verse: “And we have made the earth egg shaped”. [Al-Quran 79:30]
The Arabic word Dahaha means egg shaped. It also means an expanse. Dahaha is derived from Duhiya which specifically refers to the egg of an ostrich which is geo-spherical in shape, exactly like the shape of the earth.
Thus the Quran and modern established science are in perfect harmony.

KAMUS BAHASA TIDONG (ASAS)

KAMUS BAHASA TIDONG (ASAS)

PRAKATA

Kebanyakan Masyarakat Suku kaum Tidong menganut agama Islam. Mereka banyak bergaul dengan pelbagai suku lain seperti Melayu, Kadazan, Dusun, Murut, Suluk, Bajau, Bugis, Banjar, Jawa, Bulongan, etnik Tionghoa dll.

Bahasa Tidong Dari sudut Pengkaji Bahasa.

Tana Tidong).

Cerita Lagenda Secara Lisan Atau Tertulis

  1. Asal-usul Orang Tidong Tenggara
  2. Lasedne sinan pagun / Tenggelamnya kampung Jelutung
  3. Seritan Ibenayuk / Cerita Ibenayuk
  4. Si Benua dan Si Sumbing
  5. Seludon Yaki Yamus / Cerita Raja Empat Mata
  6. Seludon Batu Tinagad / Cerita Batu di tebang
  7. Yaki Balak / Aki Balak
